Warning: This post contains lots of pictures!

We have a new camera here at Amitie.
I've always wanted a SLR to play with and now thanks to my lovely job I have one.
Meet our Nikon D90

Image taken on my Canon Ixus 105

Now I'm new to this taking photos thing but it's something I've always loved to do.
My Canon Ixus 105 is a pretty good little point and shoot digital camera and I don't mind it's performance.

and Mum's Casio Exilim isn't bad either considering it's 10 years old (being kind)!

But the new Nikon is just... well... a picture says a thousand words right?

A photo of linen on the Casio Exilim...

and the same linen taken on the new D90.
I know I probably could have taken a photo of something more exciting but this illustrates the point, right?
It's still early days with this camera but I can't wait to get to know it better, maybe take it out for a coffee... then out at night, maybe somewhere dancing.

Here's a few snaps I've taken around the shop.
My dream machine - The Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0
Liberty 16ths.
Liberty 16ths, Liberty badges, Liberty Packs and Liberty pre cuts... I am Liberty Obsessed.
I've also taken some pics of my Down Under Doll Quilt Swap project...

Fussy cut brights then paper pieced... safe to say I am having fun whether taking photos or sewing!
