Be right back

Life is chaotic. The ever growing list of job is long and blog posts always fall to the bottom.
I manage to get some stuff on the Amitie Textiles blog assuming everybody reads that before stopping here.
Until things calm down - this blog is on hold.

Much love

NEW LIBERTY

IN STORE AND ONLINE NOW AT WWW.AMITIE.COM.AU

Remember me?

So, I haven't given up on writing blogs. It's been a crazy, busy start to 2013 and blog posts tend to fall to the bottom of the always growing pile.

My time away was good. Abu Dhabi is best described as 'beautiful chaos'.
I don't have much time so instead of words I will post some photos (these are just Instagram. I have 750+ on the DSLR but I haven't edited or anything and now that my laptop is broken I don't know when I will).
I also was lucky enough to steal some more time away from work at the end of January. I went to Rainbow Serpent Music and Lifestyle Festival and left my heart in those dirty paddocks out near Lexton. I've included some snaps from that too!

THE BOSS LADY! Missing this face.

A little concerned I got the above book in the mail this week!

Things are back in full swing here at Amitie.
Block of the months have been sent (Jan was late. Sorry guys), and next week we'll be packaging Liberty Club and getting a start on the fabrics for Feb Stash Club.

ALSO WE GOT SOME NEW LIBERTY!
I will be loading it over it to the website next week.

Happiest of happy holidays

Please see the picture below for our hours over the holiday season (click image to see full size).

For all the BOMers, I will be processing payments and mailing out next week!
Stash Club and Liberty Addicts have both been sent out so I hope you enjoy the fabric selection this time around! If anybody is making the block from Stash Club, feel free to e-mail them in to amitie@amite.com.au and I will show them on the blog!

As this year is quickly coming to a close I would like to take this time to thank all our customers. From the local ones who pop in and say hello to those in far away countries who support us by joining in on the BOMs or clubs!
It has been an interesting few years for the fabric shops of Australia, some tough times have hit and we're definitely not in the clear yet but because of the ongoing support from customers we can keep doing what we love which is supplying you with all the things you love!
Looking forward to another year of fabric-y things in 2013!

Just a quick note about something happening late January.

The Fabric Frolic is happening and we're one of the shops participating! It's a shop hop full of exciting things so check out the website HERE.

Wishing you all a fantastic holiday season.
I am off to Abu Dhabi to check in with the Boss Lady and Dad. I will hopefully be blogging photos of my adventures so stay tuned!

Holidays are just around the corner

This blog has been a bit quiet lately - life is pretty busy, I guess. There is a lot to juggle at the shop, and I have a very important trip coming up to visit 2 very important people so there's a lot to do before I go!

Because I am the resident office girl, when I am gone a few things will come to a stand still. Liberty Addicts, Stash Club and BOMs will be mailed out before I go. Internet orders will be filled once I return. I thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding. In exchange, I will snap some pics of what the Boss Lady is working on while in the UAE (she's be 1 of the 2 very important people).
